Before Knowing Artificial Intelligence, we have to understand the term Intelligence. Intelligence is the simple understanding, ability of human to react or behave to an event/response system. It is related with human behavior rather than complex understanding of any other creator. It is not just one traits, but different abilities.

Artificial Intelligence, is a complex algorithm, that helps it to act like human. The works of human, like cooking any receipts, can be followed by machine giving it correct algorithm. The era of AI has begun. Today, every thing is changing. Internet, is adopting AI. The giant company is adopting AI. From a simple platform to large-complex, all are using AI. Either, it is to give answer from the collection of BIG DATA, or the complex task of photographic, or to write letter, or to drive a car, everywhere AI plays pivot role.

Schools, Industries, Research center are using AI for their production. ChatGPT by OpenAI, Gemini by Google, Copilot and many more are following AI concept. Even Software or websites are been developed using AI. Facebook is working to enable AI in their googles products.

AI is a study of how human brain think, learn, decide and work, when it tries to solve problems, and finally this study outputs intelligent software systems. The aim of AI is to improve computer functions which are related to human knowledge, for example, reasoning, learning, and problem solving. A more or less flexible or efficient approach can be taken depending on the requirements established, which influences behavior appears. Artificial Intelligence sometime can solve the problem and answer to natural language like English, French, and Nepali.

Features of AI :

Artificial Intelligence is a new electronic machine that stores large amount of information and process it at very high speed.
The computer is interrogated by a human via a teletype.
In a test done between computer and human being, it is said to be passed if the human cannot tell if there is a computer or human at the other end.
It has high ability to solve problems.
It is the science and engineering of making intelligent machines, especially intelligent, computer programs.
It is related to the similar task of using computers to understand human intelligence.

Generative AI(AI+) sometimes called as "gen AI", is a deep learning of a machine to understand complex original content, such as video, image, long text, audio and then response accordingly.

Understanding human language and behavior by the machine is the major characteristics of AI machine.

The world is changing and everyone is adopting AI.

There are several Pros and Cons of AI and we will discuss on it.

Pros:

AI removes or minimize human errors in complex tasks. It is the common behavior of human to make mistakes, learning these mistakes by the AI, AI automatically correct the errors and response to human. It searches several data from the BIG DATA and provides the best result. Humans coding skills and making mistakes are reduced due to AI.
The service of AI is available all the time. The researchers either it be a student, teacher or scientists, they all can get benefits of AI at any time and from anywhere. AI is a machine understanding. The task provided to it, can be solved at any time. It is available to all and easy to access.
AI can work at any time and for long time. It can do the task of human repetitively. No extra fees will be demanded like human do. AI reduce cost of production. Industry can use it, to reduce the fees of many workers. From the low cost budget, high surplus benefit can be generated using AI.
Now, Human can reduce risk by letting their machine do their work. Diving into the deepest part of ocean, defusing explosive materials, jumping from high, rescuing human from fired houses and many more are the risky works that a machine can do using AI, as machines are resistant.
New Invention, Research, Assist, Generating ideas, helps in discussion etc. are the rest pros of AI.

These are the benefits of AI but more in case there are cons of AI. It has changed human civilization. Dependencies on AI is increasing, that could not be good for human welfare any more.

Cons of AI

As Human depends more on AI, their creativity gradually decreases. AI also lacks creativity that human generate from emotions, thoughts and imagination.
There is no emotional intelligence in AI. AI lacks empathy and sympathy. AI can be programmed for specific emotions, but as emotions varies, the pattern could be wrong.
Encourage Humans Laziness : The works of AI is far more better than humans and for every tasks humans relies on AI. This increase the laziness in humans. They don't prefer to work, and let it to be done by AI.
AI can damage privacy of any humans as it requires large amount of data to be programmed. This is the matter of concern.
AI could create unemployment problem. Industries are adopting AI machine instead of humans and it would let large unemployment for humans as AI is replacing human labor.
AI could create digital divide. To learn AI, people are to be taught and in society there are people who feels it difficult to use AI. They even don't understand how to use it and the would be large gap between the people using AI and people not using AI.
